It's that time of year…I set up my camera and take a position in the middle of The Yard, prepared to stand very still and point a television camera at a person speaking at former college students for an indeterminate length of time.
THIS YEAR, IT HAPPENED TO BE THE PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES.
Nonetheless, the proceedings are really about the graduates. They've earned their time in the spotlight; they've put in the work, made the sacrifices, and will be going forth to their careers and lives after this day. Congratulations to the Howard University class of 2016.
