ON A SWELTERING DAY ON THE YARD, the 2018 class of Howard graduates received the culmination of their hard work in this chapter of their academic journey. Whether it be a bachelor's, doctoral, or juris doctorate, the hard-earned degrees were recognized with smiles and tears alike that beamed a thousand times brighter than the sunlight that enveloped the yard. This was their moment, and commencement speaker/superhero thespian Chadwick Boseman made sure that they understood it would be one that they should hold with pride, and protect with vigor.
